The protocol
Candidacy
We confirm you are a suitable candidate — this is not a weight-loss treatment.
Mapping
Applicator placement drawn and photographed for repeatability.
Cycle
Controlled cooling for the scheduled time; read or work through it.
Follow-up
Review at 8 and 12 weeks to decide on a second cycle.
Cryolipolysis suits pockets, not overall size. We will tell you honestly if it is the wrong tool.
In detail
Cryolipolysis — fat freezing — is a non-surgical procedure that reduces localised fat deposits using cold. It is designed for bulges that do not respond to diet and exercise, and it is not a treatment for overall weight loss.
A skin-marking pencil outlines the area based on the size and shape of the deposit. A gel pad protects the skin, then suction draws the bulge into the applicator, which cools the fat layer to between 30.2°F and 39.2°F. You stay awake throughout; the tugging and intense cold subside as the area numbs. Afterwards we massage the area for two to three minutes to assist the breakdown of the treated cells.
Results & timeline
Most people complete a treatment area in about two sessions. You will usually notice a difference within three weeks, with full results three to six months after the last visit. Because the treated fat cells are destroyed rather than shrunk, the reduction is permanent.
Investment
Courses and combined plans are quoted at consultation, and can be spread over monthly instalments. Prices shown are per session.
Indications
What we treat with it
Belly and flanks (love handles)
Thighs
Chin and neck
Back
Upper arms
Clients near their goal weight with defined pockets
Aftercare
Expect temporary redness, numbness or tenderness in the area — all normal.
Keep moving and stay hydrated; the body clears the treated cells over weeks.
Photograph at three weeks and again at three months to see the change properly.
Written aftercare goes home with you, and we are on the phone if anything feels unexpected.
Contraindications
Some conditions mean we postpone, or ask for medical clearance first. Consultation exists to catch them.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Cryoglobulinaemia, cold urticaria or paroxysmal cold haemoglobinuria
Hernia at or near the treatment site
Significant obesity — this is not a weight-loss treatment
Impaired skin sensation or open wounds in the area
Questions
Yes — more than one area may be treated in a single session, and no incision, sedation or anaesthesia is involved. It is an outpatient, low-risk procedure.

Belly, flanks, thighs, chin, neck, back and upper arms — the stubborn pockets that resist diet and exercise.
Regularly. Newton is a short drive from the city with free on-site parking, so a session fits into a working day without city transit or parking.
